The students voted to turn our dramatic play area into a animal hospital/pet adoption center. They have been hard at work healing, and Caring for a variety of pets! Welcome back!
We have had a great start to our first week back after March Break! We have opened up an Animal Hospital/Adoption center in our Drama area and it is always very popular! So much so, that when we brought some boxes into the classroom, many became new homes for the animals! Thank you to everyone that has sent in a few extra changes of clothes! It is that terribly awkward time of year when everything is wet and muddy (or at least will be once the snow melts...) and many children prefer to change if they get wet outside! As an FYI, we weren't able to get into the library today. We will try to find a time to squeeze in Thursday or Friday! Also, Home Reading books in French will begin to come home this week! More information will accompany the program via e-mail Friday. Merci! Tomorrow Friday March 13th students are invited to wear PJ's to school!
Today we had Yaki come visit! The children had so much fun singing, and dancing along to his music! here is a link to his website http://yakimusic.com/ below are some video's of him performing some of his songs, I am sure your children would love to hear them again! We have started a new inquiry! Last week week we had a few students have a tooth fall out. This sparked a lot of dialog about teeth and why they fall out.
We decided to investigate as a class! The drama has been transformed into a Doctor/dentists office. We have started to talk about the different systems our body has. Today we discussed the digestive system during group time. |
