Our "Mon Corps (my body)" inquiry has taken off! The children are intrigued, and have many questions about how our body works.
Today we answered the question : What happens to our food?
We talked about the digestive track, and the roles of the esophagus, stomach, large and small intestines. This gave us an opportunity to introduce some new French vocabulary.
Added to the science area today was a body outline with the French words of the body parts we are learning about. The intention behind this provocation was to have the students label the body. They did not disappoint! (see picture to the left)
