This was the song played at our Remembrance Day assembly today!
What a Wednesday! To extend our plane inquiry we added some photos of airports into the room. We had some really neat play come from it! W worked together to make a really long runway, and continued to make paper airplanes! The children started to adapt the planes, and create new super jets! Reminder!
Airplanes are back! We made airport runways on paper, Airports out of blacks, and we started to turn our dramatic play area into an airport!
Outside Mme Leung took a group and measured how far their paper airplanes flew! This is going to be our next BIG project! We are excited to see where the children will take us, the sky's the limit :). Hello!
We hope you had a wonderful weekend! Patterning is still our math focus, and we are starting to get into measurement as well! a couple of reminders! - Picture retakes are on November 7th - Parent/Teacher interviews are fast approaching, so please keep checking your child's pochet(AKA Note tote, or Zip lock baggie) for information about scheduling a time. What a fun day to be a teacher! Dance party in the gym, costume parade around the school, and a we got to watch Magic school bus at rest time! We hope you all have a safe and fun Halloween! |
